Wendler 531 week one session two
I'm a bit late logging this session, it was from Friday last week. As far as weeks in the gym go, last week was really enjoyable. I love what the wendler last set is all about, I was actually getting nervous before lifting and had some adrenaline pumping!
Bench Press
Warm up
5x45kg
5x55kg
3x65kg
Working sets
5x70kg
5x80kg
5+90kg - 11 reps
This felt really good, I'm not used to starting off so light though, it was a new experience, especially when I was doing 55kg warm up next a young lad repping 75k- I had to check the ego!
Deadlift
Warm up sets
5x60kg
5x75kg
3x90kg
Working sets
5x95kg
5x110kg
5+125kg 8 reps.
I felt I could physically lift more but my grip said no,my liquid chalk should be here for the next session.
This training system is AWESOME , that is all.
