I was ready for this session, I felt rested and fresh, I had a feeling good things were about to happen. I was looking forward to the ramped sets and the 3 rep scheme.

This gave me an estimated 1RM of 139kg, I have pressed 140kg before but I was 10kg heavier than I am now. I was pumped with these figures and couldn't wait to get on the Deadlift platform.

I was expecting 7-8 reps, but 10 had not entered my head at all. I failed last week because of grip and got an estimated 1rm of 158kg, which is less than my starting PB of 165, it was disappointing but everyone has their off days. To get an estimated 1rm of ...... 1 7 9. 5 kg blew my mind! My form was tight and my grip was vice-like, I still feel confident I can do more with out a belt or straps. I like lifting Au Natural.
I feel like a deadlift of 210kg is now achievable as one of this years goals, I also feel I could get the 140kg bench press, which would be just over 2 x body weight.
