Training Log, 21st of November

Upper Body Strength Session 


I felt good going into this upper body 5x5 session. I was excited to see how my bench press compared to this time last year. At my peak, just before Christmas I managed to press 102.5kg for 5x5- yesterday this happened!!

Bent Over Row

Shoulder Press

This was my weakest area last year I couldn't get over 47.5kg for 5x5

Oh yeah! Another BOOM *the crowd roars.  60kg for 5x5 has been a goal of mine for a long time...I can taste it!

Deadlift

1x5

Worked my way up to my 5 rep max which turned out to be 140kg, my previous 1rm being 150!




Notes:

I was a lot stricter on my rest periods, 2-3 mins in-between sets, it payed off.

No real aches and pains today-only DOMS from Tuesdays leg session, rest day today then back on it Friday morning!
