Training Log 8th November

Lower Body day 

I've had two good training sessions on the bounce and moved up on all lifts, things are going well!

Back squat 3x8

100kg 100kg 102.5kg

I only needed to lift 97.5 for two and then 100 form one but I was feeling good during my warm up so just went for it. It felt good to get the two 20kg plates on again!

Front Squat (box squat) 3x8

I have been alternating between with and with out using a box.

90kg 90kg 90kg

Hang Cleans 3x8

65kg 65kg 70kg

I was really happy with this lift, 8 reps with just over my body weight ...yeah baby!!

Notes:

After I'd done my cleans a guy who is a competitive power lifter and strongman complimented me on my form, it felt pretty good- being self taught and all. I can only liken it to when someone says my daughter is beautiful.
