Training Log 05\02\2013

Lower Body Hypertrophy

I wasn't 100% sure if I was going to make it to the gym today, I put my training gear in the boot of the car just encase the gym gods smiled upon me-they did! 

Back Squats  (high bar)
4x8
80kg
85kg
85kg
90kg

I haven't done high bar (some call them Olympic stance) squats for 4 weeks as I hit a plateau on them, I switched to low bar and added in some plyometrics. I felt ok at this weight I'll now build it back up to the 105kg I was stuck at.

Front Squats  
4x8 70kg

laying leg curls
4x8 45kg

Leg Extensions
4x8 37.5kg

Conditioning 

Cleans and Burpees

3 rounds of
60kg clean x 10
Burpee x10


I was happy with my session, I'll use more weight on both the front and back squat next time.
